Jane Downes (Dublin Based)
Jane Downes lives in Dublin and practices personal and executive coaching on a full time basis and runs her own business from Pembroke St in Dublin City Centre. In addition, Jane also co owns Irelands first Development Assessment and Coaching Centre for Emotional Intelligence - Emotional Intelligence Ireland.
Jane's initial experience was within a social work/counselling capacity then moving into the business world excelling in senior end recruitment/executive search management positons and HR Consultancy assignments.
Jane is Qualified Life & Business Coach (Accredited by the European Coaching Institute ECI) and is an active member of the Life & Business Coaching Association of Ireland and the International Coaching Federation. Jane also has a First Class Honours Social Science Degree from U.C.D and is a qualified Career Coach Assessor ( www.fireworkcoaching.com). She is also a licensed and qualified Emotional Intelligence Assessor and a trained facilitator and trainer.
Jane now works with clients whether it is within a life coaching context or business/career coaching context, who feel they are "stuck in a rut" and want to move forward. Jane believes in clients living full lives. She always advises her clients not to let their limiting beliefs limit their life. Live a full life - think BIG. Life as we know it is short so why live only half of it?
Jane's main area of specialisation is using the concepts of emotional intelligence to assist in coaching and personal development along with specific business coaching covering such areas as: confidential support/role clarification/work life balance/ delegating skills/time management/political skills within the workplace/goal setting and self limiting beliefs.
Within a career coaching context, Jane uses her career coach assessment qualification along with industry knowledge to work with an individual to get his/her career back on track and improve feelings of wellbeing in the workplace or to hatch a new career direction plan. Jane also works with clients providing interview coaching to ensure her clients get that job.
Jane strongly believes in working on both personal and professional goals. She feels the line between personal and business life has blurred and it's so important to work with ALL aspects of your life.
