How Coaching Works
Here is some useful information about how coaching works.
Session Durations and frequency
Sessions usually last 60 minutes although half-day transformation sessions are also available (see below). Typically a programme would last for 4-10 sessions with clients paying for batches of 4 sessions in advance. An initial 20min free consultation would be carried out to give the client a better idea of how many sessions would be required and also to assess which coach would best suit their needs or circumstances.
Sessions are usually held weekly to begin with as this helps to establish a good momentum. Towards the end of the programme it may be appropriate to slow down the frequency in order to allow the client time to take the practical steps towards their goal (e.g applying for a new job).
Client Location
Sessions may be carried out in person or over the phone. Both methods are equally effective. At present our coaches are located London, Brighton and Republic of Ireland (Dublin & Mullingar) so it would be feasible to do face-to-face coaching in these locations. Usually clients will initiate the call at a pre-arranged time. Bright Future Coaching coaches have worked with several overseas clients and thanks to discounted telephony services in the UK, it is possible for such clients to be called by the coach for a small additional fee (£3.50 per session).
Half- Day Transformation Sessions
In the event that a client needs a quick turnaround in their lives but is not keen on the idea of doing a full programme, it may be more fitting for them to do a 4 hour intensive session (in person). The session would be carefully planned in advance by coach and coachee and may include Coaching, NLP and Hyponosis. These sessions are priced at £310.
Homework
Clients are usually assigned practical tasks at the end of each session that will bring them closer to their stated goals. These will usually be suggested by the clients themselves as an outcome from the coaching session. Progress on the tasks is then discussed at the following session.
